We finally got a couple days off to go to San Antonio to visit Derek, Amy and Corbin. We left at nap time so Samantha slept the whole time. Once we got there, she had a blast playing with Corbin ("Cor") in his sandbox, swinging and splashing in the sprinkler pool that she kept running away from. At one point, she had Dada in it dancing with her.
On Sunday, we visited El Mercado in downtown San Antonio. Although she only slept in the car there and back and was cranky off and on while shopping, she didn't sleep at all in the car on the way home. She read, sang, played with her new Mexican tambourine, and we all sang our ABC's, which Sammie repeated each letter!
We had a fun time seeing Derek and Amy and playing with sweet Corbin. We're happy they are so close now so we can get together more often!
