Crawfish & BBQ

After running some errands this morning, we stopped by a Farmers Market just to check things out. Sammie took a quick nap afterwards, then we headed to Donna's crawfish boil to celebrate her graduating from nursing school (Mama met her in school taking nursing pre-reqs). It had been forever since I have had crawfish; it was delicious and Sammie had no idea what she was missing! Although, she did enjoy the watermelon she scarfed down! We ran home for a diaper change and grab snacks, then we were off to Reunion Ranch for CPRMC's annual picnic. I didn't feel like "breaking the ice" with everyone, so Sammie and I took advantage of the empty kiddie play area, which she got to swing on a tire for the first time and loved watching a couple boys doing the zip line repeatedly. I can't wait til she can go zip lining! After a BBQ dinner- that Sam refused- we went paddle boating with Jerrine. Sammie sat in the middle and relaxed while we started singing "Row Row Row Your Boat". Overall, she had a good time and was still awake when we got home at 9 to tell Dada night- night... and Mama got through it for the most part.
