A Clownin' Tomboy

Since Samantha is getting more independent, I transferred her clothes from the top drawer to the bottom drawer so she can decide what to wear. This morning, we started by sitting on the floor and her saying "no" to everything I showed her, except for "Dada's shirt" (Saints tee) and she finally decided on purple shorts and a pink striped hoodie. When I went to pick her up from Grandma's, she must have changed her mind yet again because she was wearing Nate's clothes. The tomboy look grew on me and I know no matter what, she is free to be Samantha, just how she wants to be. That is unless when she's a [pre]teen her skirt is too short and her shirt is see-through, then we'll have to lay some boundaries, but until then, she is free.

PS~ She must have had some kind of vocab- explosion! She says everything that she knows the word to (and point to it) or will repeat what you say. She is a total blabbermouth and it is so cute and fun!
Special new words:
Grandma (Wells)- "maw maw" or "Gamaw"
Grandma Maria- "Rhe"
Mama asks "Is that cool?", Sammie says "Cool." ha ha ha

Grandma said Sam was a clown in the swing today. She was right!...
