Sammie was up last night from about 4- maybe 6:00am? Daddy finally got her to sleep. It didn't help that Mama and Daddy didn't go to bed until 1am. It was very sweet that Daddy took care of Sammie in the morning and let me sleep in.
After Sammie woke up from her nap, she was in such a smiley mood... and boy was she helpful...

After all the weeding and cleaning, we had a major grocery trip. Since Sammie has done such a great job helping me get dinner cans and cleaning up, I asked her to help me put away the dry goods in the pantry. Boy, what a mistake! She was hungry and just kept getting into everything and making a total mess! Oh well. She is only 16 months.
This morning there was a commercial for Pirates of The Caribbean. Sammie looked up at the tv and shouted "Prrrr" (pirate). YAY!!! Mama and Daddy were so excited for her! She was pretty excited too!
New words: zipper
Sammie has been doing an EXCELLENT job saying "Pppppss" (please). Some times we don't even need to prompt her.
