Like the past couple of weeks, Sammie has been fussy. She's throwing tantrums so Daddy and I have agreed to flat out ignore her. I think it's all the adjusting to new nap/meal schedules and being couped up inside a lot. So, we went to the pet store and we looked at the kitties, puppies, birds and guinea pigs. She enjoyed riding on the back of the cart, trying to pick out food and toys for Ali, and looking at the other kids laughing about the pets. Afterwards, we walked around the corner to the bookstore and Sams walked all by herself holding on to Mommy and Daddy's hands, by choice. While we were there, she rummaged through all the books and kept hugging this Asian woman who was shopping... until she ran off and found some kids to say hello to and another older lady. The lady stopped her phone call conversation to tell the person that she just had to "stop and look at the most adorable face she's seen". I heard the lady from an aisle over and knew she was talking about our angel (my heart smiled and so did I).

We are getting Samantha to say "please" when she wants something. She mumbles it, but mostly signs "cold" (brrr) when you ask her to say please. Not sure what this is about, but if that's how she associates it, then I accept it in my book :)
