As we were getting Samantha's stuff ready for Grandma's this morning, she wanted to put on her backpack. Doesn't she look adorable and ready to go to school?...

She even helped cook her own dinner this evening, dropping each ravioli in the pot. Although, she did give us a hard time about eating dinner. She must be going through a phase by not wanting to eat. It's difficult to be patient with her, but we need to learn how. It's hard because she has always been a fantastic eater.

Mardi Gras has begun in New Orleans (Fat Tuesday is 2/21/12). We are sad to miss it, but Grandma will always be celebrating in her heart and in her home...
