Sammie did not sleep at all last night... not that I know of. She woke up around 1:45 and Daddy was up with her wide-eyed for about 30 minutes or so. Then, it was Mommy's turn. I got her to sleep, although not for very long, so we were up again around 3:45. I couldn't take it anymore and threw some books in the bed for her to occupy herself and I went back to sleep. When I fell asleep, she was still awake reading; for some reason my alarm didn't go off this morning, but what woke me at 8am-ish was Sammie playing. Could it be possible that she didn't sleep a wink?
We started checking out new schools for Sams to go to when she's the ripe age of 18 months. Wow... so much to consider. It's a bit overwhelming. *sigh* She sure did impress the director of the school we checked out today.... and that makes Mommy and Daddy sooooo very proud! We know she will do excellent no matter where she goes!
After school visiting, we went to see Grandma and Grandpa Wells and have a fish and chips dinner. It was Sammie's first time eating fish and she loved dipping it in the tartar and ketchup sauce. I think her favorite was the chips (french fries). It was all very yummy! We decided to celebrate Mommy's birthday with some ice cream. Sammie was very interested in the lit candles. I was hoping she'd try to blow them out, but she just watched them.

Grandma's rosemary smells wonderful! |

I love the addition Grandpa built to protect us from falling. |

Oooo.... Fire! |

I got some ice cream, too, in my tiny bowl. But it's not the same as everyone else's. |
I did, however, like the quote I saw on the school art room's wall:
"Without 'art', Earth would just be 'Eh'."
