When we got to Grandma's, Sammie was so excited to give Nate a hug hello, although he wasn't quite having it. It's funny seeing them two interact and see how different they are. Sammie loves hugging and Nate, well, I don't think so much. What a boy!

Luckily, Sammie is feeling a lot better and that makes us happy! She sang in the car on the way home, she sang with Daddy after dinner.... then she cried in the bath. It's been about a month or so and Sammie hates having her hair washed. I even bought her little girl shampoo and she still wasn't having it. She did a really good job, but cried and cried hysterically.

Since Sammie didn't get to see Nate yesterday, she got to open her Valentine's Day gift from him today... crayons and a pink froggy. Thanks Naters! She enjoyed coloring on the floor.

Sammie's water cup for when she brushes her teeth is a black pirate cup. We call it "pirate water" when she needs to "rinse" and we talk about how the pirate says "arrrgh". Tonight I asked her to say pirate and she said "prrrr", then "What does the pirate say?" "errrr"
