Lil' Machine

Samantha is a crawling machine! When she started crawling, she kept to the carpet and knew her limits, but now she is all over the place! Her most favorite-est thing to do is to chase after Ali Kat. Ali is getting used to it and encouraging her, but once Sammie gets one hand too close, Ali jumps out of the way... and on Sammie goes after her. It's really funny.

I tried feeding her beef and veggies again tonight and she was NOT having it. Her hand would smack the spoon so fast before it got to her mouth, soI went back to the Green Beans.... she wasn't having any of that either. I hope it was just one of those days.

The last weekend of Jazzfest, what's better to read than "Happy JazzFest"?

On a total side note, there is a stray cat living on the side of our house that we named "VooDoo" because she seemed to make Ali go crazy, starting a couple weeks ago. Turns out she had kittens and she was just trying to take care of them and herself. During the day, the 3 little kittens and Mama VooDoo come out to lay in the sun and snuggle and play right outside of Sammie's window. It is really sweet to see Mama Cat taking care of her little ones. I want to keep the all back one ("Gris Gris"), but it's probably not a good idea. (*hoping to get a good pic of them all to post*)
