It's A Big World Baby and You're Little For a Little While

Sammie really is becoming a little girl. She got to do so many little girl things today:

We got her tricycle down from the attic and although she can't quite reach the pedals or maneuver the steering she really enjoyed sitting on it and learning to ring the bell (and some scooting). Too bad we forgot to get the push bar down, because now we have to lean over to push her.

 We went to visit and hang out with Mike, Lori, Nate and Baby Stella. Sammie was very excited to play with Nate and see Baby Stella. As Sammie was eating a cookie, I told her when she was finished with it she could hold Stella and Sammie shoved the cookie in her mouth and held out her arms ready for the baby. It was priceless! She was so ecstatic to be able to hold Stella. She remembered that she could tickle Baby's feet and kiss her head, although she tried giving her "Sammie's World's Best Hug". Oh No!

 Daddy and I finally decided that Sammie needed a new little toddler table to do activities on, so we found a good deal on a used one. Besides climbing on top of the chairs and on top of the table, Sammie immediately was ready to "play a card game" and we went through all of her new animal cards. Doesn't she look like such a studious little girl?

While riding her colorful noisy car-bike, she pointed out each of the colored wheels. Although she called orange yellow, I think she's finally getting the hang of it. She usually likes to call out random colors when you ask her what color something is.
