San Marcos/Yellow Jacket

We decided to drive to San Marcos to stop at the outlet mall. We only had a few hours to shop and I didn't realize how huge that mall is- You would have needed the whole day... or two! We only visited about 4 stores, but Samantha had fun playing at the playground they had on site. Since she was mostly in her stroller, when we got home we let her run free, blow bubbles and hang from the tree. She even got some "wee wee" (swing) time too... However, during swinging, what I thought was a butterfly flying in her space, turned out to be a yellow jacket that took a bite out of her hand... Our first bee bite :( It got red and swelled up a little, but after a couple minutes of tears, an ice pack and some creams, Sam was back to running around again. At'a girl!
PS~ Sammie has added a new word/phrase to her vocabulary thanks to Grandma Maria. Although it's cute, I am hoping she'll forget it in a few days. Every time she drops something: "Oh, shoot."

 First time going up a "rock climbing wall" by self. It was a super nice playground.

"She's doing it by herself. I'm not pushing her."
