Crossed

Grandma took Sammie on a little outing to the outlet mall today. Apparently, Sams made everyone laugh. Hard to believe, huh?

Sammie and Mama had dinner at Grans' house. She thoroughly enjoyed the delicious clam pasta that Grandma made (she had 2 helpings!). She started eating with a fork AND spoon and it was hilarious... Maybe the Italian in her? When PaPa was finished his dinner he sat back and crossed his arms and guess who copy-catted him with a big smile on her face?

 

 

When we got home, it was time to go straight to bed, but Little Miss just wasn't tired. She was very wide-eyed, so I figured we could wait for Dada to get home. When he did, Sammie stayed up running all over until Dada tucked her in after 9:30. She's going to be pooped tomorrow.

I will overcome you, Dada!!

Sammie finally said a 2-word phrase this morning, with a little encouragement: "Wa Wa Please". She also said "Excuse (me)" when getting passed Grandma to throw out some trash.
