The Greatest Show on Earth!
Samantha was SO excited to go to the circus today! She talked about it all morning and knew she needed a nap first, so she was ready when it was nap time (early). Although she's been to the circus before, she's older now and probably doesn't remember the last one... Well, she remembered puppy dogs, but I don't know if that's from the first circus we went to or Circus Chickendog. Hmm. Anyway, we explained to her that she would see clowns, tigers and elephants! When we got there she seemed a little disappointed while we sat in our seats watching people walk around. However, when the show started and all the performers came out, she started to hype up. It was nothing compared to how she reacted when she saw the 6 elephants walking trunk-in-tail!!! She screamed over the music for those elephants. It's too bad that they didn't perform until the very end and Samantha was having a difficult time sitting still- she asked to go potty four times before intermission. We finally had to explain that if she kept going we would miss the elephants; then, she never asked again- Unfortunately, their act was very short. Although we had a great time, we enjoyed our first circus more.
