Today was such a beautiful day! It was cool this morning and bright and sunny this afternoon... I guess I should say hot! Grandpa came over to get Daddy to go mountain biking and Sammie did not want him to leave! She says that she can't wait to go biking with Daddy and Grandpa. They better take care of themselves on the trails to keep up with her when she's older.
We met Mike, Lori and Nate at the Fable Festival for some fun. Nate was very interested in bouncing and riding the train, while Sammie enjoyed watching all the people walk passed and the petting zoo. Although we didn't go inside, she loved watching the animals and got so excited to see the duckies and goats that she started shaking the gate. We probably should have waited in the long line for her to go in and pet them. She probably would have wanted to take one home- baaa. Daddy wanted to watch some live action jousting, and that was pretty interesting to see. Some of the games were a little too "old" for Sammie, but since we wanted to support the Cedar Park Library we found a couple that Sammie could play with some assistance. We ended the day with a very relaxing train ride. Once we got off the train, Sammie fell asleep on my shoulder. Man, she was so hot!
A clown that was walking by gave her a balloon poodle on a leash. While getting ready for bed she kept pointing to it. I kept telling her that's her dog, and asked if she could say "dog". Her response: "daaaaaah". That's close, right?
