How Coincidental...

Last night Rebecca and I were talking about feeling the baby hiccuping inside. I told her that Sammie has never done that, but even if she had, I wouldn't know what it would feel like. COINCIDENTALLY, when I went to bed last night, I could feel her hiccuping. It was such a weird feeling. I had Matt come in to feel and listen to my belly. He could hear the rhythmic sounds. I was actually paranoid that something was wrong and asked Matt to check her heart beat, but it was normal, beating between 130-140... I had a small case of the paranoia.

On the other hand, today we went to visit Baby Nathanael. I got to hold him after his feeding while he slept and apparently, Sammie likes to kick her cousin! He didn't seem to mind though, he slept right through it. We'll teach her better when she's old enough :)

Hello Baby Nathanael!

Today we welcomed Shaler & Adrianne's baby to our family! Nathanael Stropes Wells was 8 pounds, 8 ounces, measuring 21 inches and was delivered- all natural- at 6:04pm. What a special day... It is my mom's birthday and Matt's late grandmother's birthday! He is such an adorable baby! Happy Birthday Baby Nathanael!!

Just Getting Bigger

I had a doctor's appointment today. My belly is measuring well. Last time (2 weeks ago), I measured small. I had kept telling Sammie that we were going to the doctor. I guess she got shy and rolled up into a tight ball. I didn't give her any warning today and I measured normal-- I hope so... this belly is getting BIG! I keep feeling her bony little bottom... or feet... or something poking through either stretching or trying to get out. But this little girl needs to finish cooking! Just a little longer! Tomorrow we have a childbirth class. Time to learn  how to breath... HEE HEE WHOOOOO

Belly Shoot in Drippin'

Yesterday Matt and I went down to Dripping Springs to see Cousins Tom & Nicole to do a belly photo shoot. It was very tiring and HOT! We got some good shots, but first they need to be cleaned up when Tom gets back from his truck shoot in Vegas. I picked a couple just to tease you with. But we can't wait to get the final ones!

32 weeks

Same Ol'

Nothing new is happening, just waiting for the days to go by. Still feeling good.... still not "nesting" (I don't really like that word). I figured I would share with you my last [good] sonogram of Sammie. I got this one taken at work a few weeks ago. Sammie usually moves ALL day, but I hadn't felt her in her normal routine, so I went down to the Ultrasound Department to make sure she was ok. Dawn did a great job scanning my belly and getting great shots- like this one- but I didn't want to ask for too much (like a cd); Just as long as she was ok and I could see her, and bring some pictures home to Daddy. So, sorry about the glare/reflection- I had to take it with Matt's iPhone. Anyway, while I was in there I got to see her yawn and stick her tongue out. She apparently doesn't like to be bothered. When Dawn tried to moved her hand away from her face, with a push of the wand, I could see Sammie elbow Dawn back. It was too funny!

Welcome...

Well, the "countdown" has begun... sort of. We have less than 2 months to go to expect the arrival of our Lil' Peanut Butter. Samantha Marie is due on October 9, 2010. But it's really up to her when she decides to grace us all. So far, I have had a great pregnancy! I really can't complain about anything, except the aching feet! Matt has taken very good care of me through these growing months; making sure I am eating right- making me eat ALL my veggies- and making sure I am getting plenty of rest. It won't be long now 'til we're both going to need some taking care of because of sleep deprivation! LOL
